Method: |

|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Soak
apricots in 1 cup of warm water for 5 to 6 hours or over night. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Heat oil
and fry onions till golden brown. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Add garlic
and ginger paste and saute for 5 minutes. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Now add
meat and cook for another 5 minutes. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Add cinnamon
stick, salt, red chilli and water. Mix well. |
|
|
|
(I
do like spicy food that’s why I add red chilli but you can skip) |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Cover and
cook until meat is tender and half cup gravy should remain. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
In another
pan, heat sugar until brown on medium flame. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
When sugar
turns brown, add soaked apricots along with its water and bring it to the
boil. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
Cover and
cook on low flame for 10 minutes or until apricots are soft. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Then add
these unseeded apricots along with the sugar syrup to the meat. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Simmer for
5 to 8 minutes and garnish it with potato shoestrings. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
Serve hot
with any kind of bread. |
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
