Apple Sauce

Apples 500g, peeled, cored & chopped


lemon juice 3tbsp



cinnamon powder 1tsp



sugar 1tbsp



salt 1/4tsp



water 1/2 cup 









Method:










Put all ingredients into a pan and bring to boil. 








Lower heat, cover and simmer until apples are tender or for at least 30 minutes.






Remove from heat when its done.









Mash with potato masher.









Ready to serve. (Delicious with Latkes)









Serves 4.










Note: You can also freeze it.
