Apples | 500g, peeled, cored & chopped | ||||||
lemon juice | 3tbsp | ||||||
cinnamon powder | 1tsp | ||||||
sugar | 1tbsp | ||||||
salt | 1/4tsp | ||||||
water | 1/2 cup | ||||||
Method: | |||||||
Put all ingredients into a pan and bring to boil. | |||||||
Lower heat, cover and simmer until apples are tender or for at least 30 minutes. | |||||||
Remove from heat when its done. | |||||||
Mash with potato masher. | |||||||
Ready to serve. (Delicious with Latkes) | |||||||
Serves 4. | |||||||
Note: You can also freeze it. | |||||||
