| Apples | 500g, peeled, cored & chopped | ||||||
| lemon juice | 3tbsp | ||||||
| cinnamon powder | 1tsp | ||||||
| sugar | 1tbsp | ||||||
| salt | 1/4tsp | ||||||
| water | 1/2 cup | ||||||
| Method: | |||||||
| Put all ingredients into a pan and bring to boil. | |||||||
| Lower heat, cover and simmer until apples are tender or for at least 30 minutes. | |||||||
| Remove from heat when its done. | |||||||
| Mash with potato masher. | |||||||
| Ready to serve. (Delicious with Latkes) | |||||||
| Serves 4. | |||||||
| Note: You can also freeze it. | |||||||
